Dishin': A Dinner Which Will Definitely Delight

harvest vine chef 320.jpg Dishin' has been reporting on Sound (now merged with City Arts) magazine's "Dish-Off" all year long. Two of the top "Dish-Off" chefs of the year are teaming up for a dinner that will showcase the best of Spain and France.

Recall that Joseba Jiménez de Jiménez of Harvest Vine challenged us with his Rocky Mountain oyster sorbet, while Philippe Thomelin of Olivar introduced us to Pedro Ximénez-braised pork ribs. Both were delightful dishes. Expect more as the two friends collaborate in creating a six course meal with wine pairings available. Olivar will be hosting the dinner November 4 at 7pm. (Call 206-322-0409 to book reservations at $60 per person, excluding wine, tax, and tip.) The menu looks fabulous:
