As the week comes to a close, it's time to relax. But before you gear up for a dreary Friday evening followed by a potentially bright weekend, take a moment to check the status of your voter registration. If you're not registered to vote -- or if your registration address needs updating, it's time to act! Monday October 5 is the last day to register online or by mail if you want to vote in the November 3rd election. Monday is also the last day to update your address if you're already registered.
How do you feel about calling T-Mobile executive Joe Mallahan as Mayor of Seattle? What about the staunchly anti-tunnel Mike McGinn? (The candidates are holding a forum in the Ballard High School Monday night. Doors open at 6 p.m., the forum will begin at 6:30 p.m.)
Do you care enough about civil rights to put pen to paper and make your position known?
We know you care. We know you want a say. But it's not going to mean much unless your paperwork's in order. Register. Participate. Take part in determining the future of Seattle and the state of Washington!
Ballots will be mailed out October 14 -- October 16. If you don't get one by October 20, call 206-296-VOTE.
Once you vote, track your ballot via the King County Mail Ballot Tracking System.
(Thanks to The Southlake for the reminder).
