Seattle: Your All-Season Music Festival HQ
Like most who reside in Seattle, here at Seattlest we're music fans 365 days a year. If we were to live in any other city, I'm sure we would be much less optimistic about what the impending end of summer (and traditional festival season) would mean for our love of live music. Luckily for us, we don't have to worry about such a fate as Seattle offers many musical options well into the dead of the wet season.
Sure, national and even regional tours grind nearly to a halt during winter, but again we have reasons to count our blessings as Seattleites. As a musical epicenter with a nearly endless supply of fine local musicians, the colder, wetter months only offer us more chances to spend extra time with the Jet City talent.
One of the best ways to get to better know your musical neighbors presents itself in the form of one of the last great music festivals of the year, Seattle Weekly's REVERB Festival.
To sweeten the deal even further, the fifth annual all-local music festival held in Ballard on 10/03 is one of the absolute best deals in town. Wristbands go for $5 advance and $7 on the day of the show for those 20 and younger, and $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the show for those 21 and over.
