A PLAY OF MAGICAL THINKING: Intiman Theatre presents The Year of Magical Thinking, a play by well-known and much-loved author Joan Didion, based on her bestselling memoir of the same name. Directed by Sama Lapine and starring Judith Roberts, this beautiful show relives the heartbreaking aftermath of Didion losing her husband of 40 years while her daughter lay in intensive care, and how she coped with her grief.

A TALE OF TWO RESTAURANTS: Two Wallingford restaurants, Entoria and RAIN, will be facing off in the "Battle in Seattle" cook-off of crudo vs. sashimi. With celebrity guest judges such as Seattlest's own Jay Friedman and Q13's Dan Devone, this raw and cured meat cook-off will be as entertaining as it will be delicious. The public will also have a very important say in this very serious food battle of two bests.

THE CRADLE THAT ROCKS: Ian Bell and the Brown Derby Series is presenting The Hand That Rocks the Cradle for three nights only at the Re-bar. Everyone can remember the unforgettable storyline of the psycho nanny who will stop at nothing to take over and destroy a family. And, since the movie was based in Seattle, there's obviously no better place to put on the hilarious spoof than at the Re-bar. We've heard great things about the Brown Derby Series, so if you've missed previous plays, this may be the best time to check them out.
