In City Council Primary Races...Ah, Who Cares

For Seattle City Council Position #4, it's Bagshaw v. Bloom. #6: Licata v. Israel. #8: O'Brien v. Rosencrantz. (Here are the King County Elections results.) That's clocking in at 17 percent of registered voters so far. Just yesterday we were talking with a non-voter, who offered in his defense that he didn't really know anything about the candidates. "But you don't care enough to vote someone out, right?" we asked. "If you're that comfortable with how things are running, you clearly prefer the incumbents. All you have to do is find out who's already in office." But you know, that guy is just lazy. Can't be bothered. Non-voters are like that. Also, they steal.
