Can't Miss It: Tuesday

TIME WARP: Third Eye Cinema and the Northwest Film Forum present Time Machine, with Bill Brown and Sabine Gruffat. The two will be traveling through the past, present, and future via spoken word, video performance, 35mm slides, and good old scratchy records. Discover Real-Time rendering, Quartz, and Max patches as Gruffat steers you through the strange world of digital and analog hyperspace. If your girlfriend or wife has been on you to go see The Time Traveler's Wife, this may be a good distraction...the book is always better anyway.

8 p.m. // Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Avenue // Tickets: $6-9

ROCK AND ROLL BENEFIT: Seattle native Duff McKagan--who most of you might remember from a little rock band called Guns 'N' Roses--will be playing at the Sunset tonight with his latest group, Loaded, in honor of a close friend, Dave Ravenscroft, who was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer in his neck. This rare acoustic show is a benefit, which will help fund all of Ravenscroft's medical and household bills while he fights the illness.

8 p.m., 21+// Sunset Tavern, 5433 Ballard Avenue NW // Tickets: $95

YOGA BY THE LAKE: Roar Yoga is offering an all-level, donation-based vinyasa yoga class in Denny Blaine Park on Lake Washington today. Sounds like a good chance to soak up a little late-afternoon sun and maybe make some new yoga buddies. They also encourage you to bring a bathing suit for "a post-flow dip." (We will bite our tongue on that one.) And if like us, you don't know what the hell vinyasa means exactly, here's a freebie.

6:30-7:45 p.m. // Denny Blaine Park, 200 Lake Washington Boulevard // Tickets: Donations accepted
