You! Out of the Nice, Cool, Splashy Water!

Today the PostGlobe followed up on our own sterling reporting about how the Parks Department doesn't want you, your baby, or your dog in the water features at Cal Anderson Park. There are tiny little signs!

But Philip Dawdy gets them to spell out "Don't Play in the Water" in capital letters: "You're not supposed to be in it at all anywhere," said Joelle Ligon, a Parks spokeswoman. "It wasn't designed as a water feature to play in. It was designed for visual enjoyment."

So can we move on to when the Parks Department is going to announce that it's okay to play in the water at the park? Because the people have spoken.
