Rachel-B. Expect to see plenty of folks with trucks like these tailgating in the White River parking lot tonight.

THE ONE THAT MAKES YA FEEL ALRIGHT: We don't need to notify you that today is Crue Fest 2. Undoubtedly you are already on your way to White River, wearing your finest American flag halter top and blasting "Girls, Girls, Girls." We know you are very excited for Motley Crue (set to play Dr. Feelgood in its entirety), along with Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Theory of a Deadman, and Charm City Devils, especially if they all collaborate on a live performance of the Crue's new single "White Trash Circus." Yes, it is a rawk dream come true, and yes, the only thing better than tonight's show is the upcoming Poison and Def Leppard doubleheader.

5 p.m. // White River Amphitheatre // 40601 Auburn Enumclaw Rd SE, Auburn WA // $16.50-$95

MORE LIKE LAKE SLOWBEGON: Fernando Eimbcke's first film, Duck Season, was a movie about nothing, a comical day in the life of a group of kids in Mexico. With his second film, Lake Tahoe, it's more of the same. Teenager Juan crashes his car into a light pole and then wanders about his small Yucatan town trying to find a mechanic who can help him, but instead only encountering characters and misadventures. The film reveals itself slowly (and we mean slooooooowly--the first 25 minutes are downright languid), delicately making its way to an understated emotional core. Eimbcke is a director to watch, and we will gladly follow him wherever he goes, even if it takes a while to get there. Lake Tahoe shows at the NWFF through Thursday.

7 p.m., 9 p.m. // Northwest Film Forum // 1515 12th Ave. // $9

THEY'RE BRITISH, NOT MEXICAN: Genuinely good guy group Gomez is touring on their sixth studio release, A New Tide, which gave them their highest-ever chart debut. Even if you aren't familiar with the band's music, they are easy to love. Billboard called the new album "a brilliant 11-song collection of lyrical jewels," Paste described it as "catchy and quirky," while Rolling Stone praised their "gnarly funky breaks and subtly warped jams." Check, check, and check. Gomez hits up the Showbox tonight, along with Mother Hips.

9 p.m. // Showbox // 1426 1st Ave // $23, 21+
