Amanda Knox Turns 22 in the Lock-Up
Today Seattle's Amanda Knox--on trial for the murder of her British roommate--had to once again celebrate a birthday, this time her 22nd, in an Italian jail cell. As her trial continues in Italian courts, she had once hoped she wouldn't be spending another birthday in jail. Sadly, she was the one who baked and brought the chocolate birthday cake to her own private gathering at the jail with family members and friends. While this is the closest we can come to saying it in Italian, we at least wanted to send a sincere Happy Birthday from 6,000 miles away.
