WEENIE BLESSING: Eat a free weenie with pride! The BottleNeck Lounge kicks off Gay Pride with a weekend of free hot dogs (and no cover!) on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 p.m., with the fabulous Gina Bling of Team Gina, who will give The Third Annual Hot Dog Blessing. On Saturday and Sunday, the bar will be providing freshly grilled dogs (both veggie and non) to hungry gays and non-gays alike.
Fri-Sun. // BottleNeck Lounge, 2328 E. Madison St. // No Cover (21+)
HARD HAT ZONE: When you give unsportsmanlike people a platform to combine power tools, a competition with 200-pound trophies, and the "Holy shit, what the hell were these guys thinking?" theory of fun, you get the 2009 Seattle Power Tool Race & Derby. The testosterone-fueled day of chest-hair-growing events will feature homemade power tool-driven contraptions and spectacular and dangerous mayhem! Follow the sounds of circular saws to Georgetown's Artopia, where the head-on collisions, flames, destruction, and sabotage of the Power Tool Demolition Derby will leave grown men sobbing helplessly.
2:00p.m., Sat. // Artopia in Georgetown, corner of 1204 S Vale Street // Suggested donation for racers $20
BERRY BERRY GOOD: Holy blueberries! We are excited to hear that the West Seattle Farmers Market has been bringing out the fresh goods for ten years--TEN YEARS! This Sunday, the market will celebrate by hosting a Berry Spectacular Birthday Party. So if you want to give the water taxi a try or even stroll on over from your own home, the family-friendly birthday party will have free berry ice cream sundaes, a cherry pit spit contest, the giant "Veggie Mama" puppet, cooking demos by Jeff Taton of Fresh Bistro and Maya Kurose-Barber of Herban Feast, and so much more.
10 a.m.-2 p.m., 11:00 a.m. Cooking demos, Sun. // West Seattle Farmers Market, California Ave SW and SW Alaska // No Cover

Tuesdays are Muppet Days
