- Meanwhile, over at MyBallard, the news is that kids are skipping out of Salmon Bay School with the swine flu hot on their heels. We wish could get another animal in this item.
- We learned (via Blogging Georgetown) that Seattle's first recycled-cargo-container building is stacking up nicely. The “Cargotecture” prototype by HyBrid Architecture will be finished up by this fall.
- A Land Rover tipped over on Capitol Hill's East Lynn Street, not too far from a yellow squiggle sign suggesting a 20mph limit. The sign isn't holding up its end of the bargain, because CHS reports 77 accidents in that area since 1991. The driver and her child were not seriously injured.
- Not to get all crime-wavy on you, but Rainier Valley Post wrote about a serious beating on Beacon Hill that left a man unconscious and Wallyhood posted a Wanted! poster for last month's Dick's break-in. Let's be careful out there.
