- This morning around 10:30 a.m. a woman found herself being rescued by rappelling firefighters and a city boat after her car plummeted 200 feet down a waterfront cliff in Edmonds.
- Two groups of car prowlers are making the rounds in Crown Hill. One group wielding a skeleton key seems to fancy cars with GPS units. In total, they've broken into 15 cars in five days.
- Mayor Greg Nickels is trying to reel in the big financial fish, Russell Investments, out of Tacoma. He's baited his hook with tax breaks, lots of tax breaks to keep their business in the state and more importantly, in Seattle.
- South Lake Union's Cinema on the Lawn series has been canceled. You can still get to watch your movies outside, though--this Saturday, Fremont (almost free) Outdoor Cinema kicks off with Mamma Mia.
- There is most certainly no "Liz" who works as the scheduler/office manager for Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.), only an Elizabeth Becton. An assistant-type learned that the hard way after she was unnecessarily berated by snotty-nosed Becton for typing "Hi Liz" in a email exchange. Gosh, didn't you know she HATES that name?

It's "past-time" not "pastime." I hate when people are stupid. Please stop being stupid. A lot of people are stupid in D.C., it's sort of a past-time there. If you want me to vote for your boss again, refrain from being stupid.

P.S. Don't call me. I can't afford a phone because our economy sucks because you're too busy throwing a fit over your name than to schedule a meeting with the company that took over one of the few remaining Fortune 500 companies headquartered in my city.
GPS devices have been getting jacked downtown and in Belltwon aggressively for the past year. If you see one on your neighbors or coworkers dashboard do them a solid and tell them to take it down while parked.
PS- THE SPD has a bait car they are considering using to catch GPS thieves. If this happens to you request they implement the bait car, because as is too many shitheads are getting away with GPS systems.
