Apparently, "the truck is equipped with an open kitchen with extra large windows and a one-of-a-kind wireless ordering system that will give staffers the freedom to engage with their customers while they order and enjoy their food."

NOT A CELL PHONE PROVIDER: Fast on the heels of Maximus Minimus, Marination Mobile makes its debut today in Fremont. The Hawaiian-Korean taco truck serves a menu of "tacos and sliders, featuring ingredients such as kalbi beef, spicy pork, miso-ginger chicken, kalua pork, and tofu...marinated in signature sauces. There is also a kimchi fried rice bowl, kimchi quesadilla, and SPAM musubi. Items run from $2-$5." Marination plans to eventually operate seven days a week, open for lunch and dinner till 2 a.m. The weekly schedule is currently as follows, but be sure to watch for updates at their website and on teh Twitter: Monday: SODO, Seattle Design Guild (1701 First Ave); Wednesday: Fremont, Soundspeed Scooters (132 N. Canal St); Thursday: Capitol Hill, Broadway Shell (1500 Broadway @ Pike); Friday: Capitol Hill, Broadway Shell; Saturday: Capitol Hill, Broadway Shell; Sunday: Ballard, Cheka-Looka Surf Shop (6300 Seaview Ave. NW).

GO WEST, YOUNG MAN: Town Hall continues the year-long centennial celebration of the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition with a presentation by Michael Herschensohn, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture’s manager of the Centennial Celebration. He'll be speaking about the exposition, Seattle’s first world fair; how it created opportunities for Seattle as a city to imagine the future, and how the anniversary of such an event can prompt the same. Where will Seattle be in the next 50 years? Probably still without reliable public transportation and/or a snow removal system. Just a guess.

7:30 p.m. // Town Hall // 1119 8th Ave. // $5

SPORTSBALL CLUB: The Sounders play D.C. United tonight at Qwest Field. Coming off a win on Saturday, the team hopes to, um, not go on another terrible non-winning streak. Will they win? Will they lose? Will they have an unsatisfying-for-everyone tie? Who really cares, as long as you're a drunk soccer hooligan?

8 p.m. // Qwest Field // 800 Occidental Ave S // $20-85
