Jack the Stoner Dog Benefit at the Bottleneck This Weekend

Jack head shot.jpg

Every dog has its day. You may remember Jack, a black lab/Dalmatian mix who ate a marijuana stash in Seward Park a month ago, and became super-famous, with his story featured in on the local news, as well as in the Huffington Post, the New York Times, CNN, and the Chicago Tribune.

Now that Jack's recovered from being severely stoned, his owners are saddled with a $1500 vet bill--and they've got a baby due in a couple weeks. To help out, the Bottleneck Lounge, longtime friends of Jack, are hosting a benefit this Saturday night from 4:30-8:30 p.m. 100% of the suggested $10 donation will be applied to Jack's vet bill. In addition, the bar will feature his cocktail from their 2007 menu, The Blue Eyed Angel, with drink proceeds also donated. There'll be door prizes, non-pot-brownies, and perhaps even a celebrity appearance.
