Mayor Says Park Trash Can Removal "Worth Experimenting With"

From West Seattle Blog's Twitter preview of interview with Mayor Nickels: "he thinks the phasing out trash cans in city parks plan is fine, 'worth experimenting with.'" We thought experiments were for when you DON'T know how things will turn out. Volunteer Park sure is pretty this time of year.

I think removing the mayor from Seattle is a policy worth experimenting with.

Is he nuts? Maybe we can move all the extra litter and vermin to his front yard.

At this point it's a matter of how long it takes for him to admit his error and reverse course.

I wouldn't rule out an arrogant press release from Sandeep maligning Nickels detractors for their obvious lack of "vision" and unwillingness to appreciate eachother's communal trash.
