How nice are you, Seattle? Are you nicer than Tacoma? We'd like to think so. How about when it comes to driving, who has the nicest drivers?

In an attempt to make Washington roadways accident-free and filled with happy drivers, Gov. Chris Gregoire proclaimed Thursday, May 21 (Yes, that's to-mor-row), "Drive Nice Day" throughout the state.

As for the heated battle against Tacoma, this year will mark the third year our two cities have been driving for the "We're nicer than you" title. Rules say the city with the least amount of driving penalties wins. The city with the nicest drivers would earn bragging rights and a $10,000 grant for local organizations promoting safe driving.

In order to win (Go Seattle!) you'll have to hide those "not so nice" driving habits of yours tomorrow. Spotters will be watching for the good as well as the bad judgments Washington drivers make tomorrow. So to re-cap, that means no speeding, ixnay talking on cell phones and tailgating, and flippin' the bird is out of the question. Okay Seattle, it's game drive time.
