Sita Sings the Blues is a hyper-stylized feature, a retelling of the Hindu myth of Sita (also known as Maithili, also known as Janeki, also known as Vaidehi), found in the epic Ramayana--meshed with the very autobiographical story of director/writer/animator Nina Paley and her own greatest breakup ever told.
