We only know one person who owns a Kindle, so we often forget to mention you can subscribe to Seattlest at the Kindle Store for just $1.99.
Our RSS feeds remain free (did you know you can subscribe to four separate channels?), and of course you can follow our automated headline feed on Twitter. We're upgrading our mobile version in a little bit to be more iPhonic. Also we finally got around to creating a Seattlest page on Facebook (in addition to our group), which lets us post our Seattlest feed right to Facebook. So convenient.
Is that it? Can we finally feel loved now? Loved like a teensy red crowned crane chick? This little peeper was born at the Woodland Park Zoo on May 9 (photo by Dennis Dow), birthed by parents who were a gift from Japan. This kind of crane is an endangered species so there's a big effort to get more of 'em hatching. Obviously we would never threaten to hurt an endangered species baby. Unless we had to.
