  • Everyday people in Seattle are biking, but stand back now, because tomorrow is Starbucks Bike to Work Day. So if your commute allows for a pit stop, pedal on over to South Lake Union's commute station from 6:00 to 9:00 am free biking goodies or end your day in downtown Ballard joining massive Bike to Work After-Party.
  • One helluva food fight broke out at a high school in Mill Creek today. The planned attack resulted in the expulsion for 14 students and a canceled prom.
  • The Swinery lives on! This time in West Seattle. Hello bacon and cured-meats, oh, how we've missed you so.
  • Water wings not cutting it for the kiddos or even big kids? Seattle Parks and Rec. are gearing up for their big (and little) youth life jacket sale event this weekend.
  • Chrysler needs to put 15 of its Washington dealerships on the chopping block by early next month.

    Folks at my office have clocked over 750 miles already, they're crazy about MTWM, but today is the most fun as people compare schwag the get at the stops. They blogged about why they like to bike and a new iPhone app for tracking your bike rides from REI too...pretty cool.



    Also, agree with herpisara, it is CRAZY to expel kids over throwing food!

    I think expelling kids and canceling prom over a food fight is a total overreaction. A food fight is small potatoes (pun intended) compared to what could and does happen in high schools these days.
