Olympia.jpg There will be no special legislative session to take care of lawmaker odds and ends. What kind of fun are our legislators missing out on?

Following the adjournment of the 2009 Legislative session last month, Hans Dunshee (Democrat-Snohomish) told KUOW:

This place is designed to kill any new ideas. It is really a place where the dead hand of tradition hangs heavily and the status quo always has the advantage, so any new idea always is going to have to overcome the inertia of the status quo.
Regarding the cuts in the budget, Dunshee said:
There are going to be people who will lose services and die.
Sounds like some people aren't exactly counting down the days until the 2010 session in January.
