Can't Miss It: Weekend Edition May 8-10

IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT: It's going to get hot, hot, hot tonight at the 2010 Firefighter Calendar Judging Party. In the heat of the judging passion, 23 firefighters (6 are women!) from across Washington will work the runway trying to earn not only the title of "Northwest's Hottest Firefighter" but also one of the 12 coveted months. Secret fantasies aside, this is all for a good cause, helping out the Firefighters Burn Foundation.

FASHION FREAKS: He's a legendary Italian fashion designer who sewed together an iconic empire for fashion's elite. The film Valentino: The Last Emperor, is an intimate look into the years prior to Valentino and his longtime business partner, Giancarlo Giammetti as they face giving up their 50-year reign over the world of fashion. Opening tonight in Seattle, the film shares not only the glamorous diamond-studded side, but the struggle of an artist losing absolute authority and love for the future of fashion.
