CLASSICALLY FINE TUNED: Seattle's neighborhood-loving classical music group Simple Measure will be wrapping up their fourth chamber concert series this weekend with a melodic finale titled High Strung--the Celestial Dimension. Concerts will be held across Seattle, featuring guest artists harpist Yolanda Kondonassis and flutist Bart Feller, who will perform with the group, prompting many "This one time, at band camp..." jokes, as the evening will combine the sounds of harp, flute, cello, violin, and viola.

VROOOM, VROOOM!: Need to trash it up a bit this weekend, or feel the need for speed, you're one lucky son-of-a-gun, because Monster Energy AMA Supercross is back in town. With screaming 450cc bikes racing around Qwest, gnarly crashes and jumps, plus an all day pit party, it's hard not to be stoked to see some mullets and good ol' dirt bike racing.

APHRODISIACS UNITE: Combine chocolate, mood lighting, chocolate, a gourmet dinner, more chocolate, and a romantic movie inspired by food, with chocolate in its title, and you'll have the latest in SIFF's Dinner & A Movie series. A perfect date night, the evening's award-wining featured film, Like Water for Chocolate is a feast for the senses that could make your Sunday night a bit more interesting (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
