<description>&lt;p&gt;One thing that was recommended is putting your food scraps in a container in the fridge and then dump them in your yard waste bin. It seems weird at first blush, but it isn&apos;t really all that different from storing leftovers, as mentioned in the post. 

Personally I haven&apos;t had any problem just keeping my compost pail on my counter, but then again, I almost never eat meat, so that might be the issue. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
