Stalk Of The Town
Jack is getting all kinds of antsy for The Thermals' record release show, Saturday night at Neumos. In preparation he's been listening as much of their new album, Now We Can See, as he can find online. Sunday is Easter, so he's invited some family-types over for a dinner of apple cider-braised pork loin.
MvB is off to the ballet Saturday night to catch one of Louise Nadeau's few remaining performances before her retirement. Sunday he'll make a stab at arranging tax papers, which should last no more than 15 minutes if there's any sunshine outside.
Katelyn already misses Seattlest. This weekend, she'll be cleaning house, writing stories against a deadline she's been ignoring, and celebrating Easter by way of coffee, quiche, and dinner at Grandma's on Sunday. On Easter evening she plans on going to the High Dive to meet two new Proofers at the Suntonio Bandanez/Billy The Fridge show.
Jay will be checking out May Restaurant for some Thai food, and may have to be camped out at home handling his complex tax situation. Possible treat: a trip to Molly Moon's for some salted black licorice ice cream.
Assuming he can lie his way out of attending church with his parents on Easter, John will be dive bar-hopping for the better part of Saturday.
