Stalk Of The Town

emeraldcitycomicon.jpg Though he's read comics off and on since John Byrne wrote Fantastic Four, James is attending his first-ever comic convention on Saturday. (Nerd!) Sunday he's got an hour and a half massage scheduled at New Seattle Massage. And he's getting ready for a two-week vacation in Paris, for which he leaves a week from Sunday.

Jack will be pondering questions of morality and redemption tonight as he takes in Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment at the Intiman Theatre. The rest of the weekend will be spent completing the somewhat less intriguing task of installing and painting new trim in his house.

Jay is flying off to Utah for a night, and has his sights set on some mole (the sauce, not the animal - though that might be good in mole sauce). He'll be back in time Sunday for a sampling of Taste Washington before flying out to the other Washington (DC) for a couple of days, a trip which might include a peek at the cherry blossoms.

Katelyn is going into hermit mode, slowly but surely. She plans to spend this evening up in Monroe, chilling out low-key with friends, and then she'll go into angst- and exhaustion-fueled solitary confinement for the rest of the weekend. Unless she changes her mind. She'll probably try to find a hot tub to sit in.

MvB is catching a held-over showing of the much-praised Silent Light at the Northwest Film Forum tonight, and then will try to swing by the Little Theatre on Saturday before Will Eno's Tragedy, a tragedy wraps up its run. Sunday afternoon it's a tiny happy-hour-margarita-fueled focus group at the Cha Cha with Seattlest Reader(TM) Troy.

Since he's not leaving town, Ronald will be able to take advantage of the Taste Washington seminars on Saturday. Kudos are in order to the Taste administration for their new-found willingness to include members of the blogosphere among their media invitations.

Audrey plans on having sushi tonight and sushi tomorrow night. Consider her blessed.

Giddy with glee, upon hearing a beautiful weekend weather forecast is in store, Kim P. will be soaking up all the sunshine she can find, plus congregate with her fellow transplants from America's High Five State in Ballard, to watch the Michigan State basketball game. To curb the effects of Saturday's festivities, she will be brunching in Belltown and then searching for the perfect bouquet of tulips in the Pike Place Market.

I'm going to eat my head's weight in nachos.

I'll be drinking my head's weight in margaritas. This'll be fun.

I'll bring my notebook and a pen. If it were possible to bring a white board in, I totally would because white board's are fun.
