Can't Miss It: Tuesday

"Rachel The Pig" by Life As Art. Cute! And maybe scary!
OINK OINK, AUUGHHHH!: The NWFF is screening Pig Hunt (an apparently awesome horror movie) today as part of the launch for a new online culture magazine called The Rumpus. That sounds like a good time all around the block, literally, because you can go drink and eat at Vermillion before and after the movie and magazine launch.

7 p.m. // Northwest Film Forum // $15-$30

CARELESS LOVE: None other than the beautiful Madeleine Peyroux will perform at the Moore tonight. She says her new album has a "unison of joy" in it, whatever that means, but it does sound promising for entertainment on a blustery cold weeknight.

8 p.m. // Moore Theatre // $39adv

HAPPY TB DAY: Apparently it's the designated day to deeply consider tuberculosis, and Town Hall is of course marking the occasion with a panel discussion, "activities" (catching TB?), and refreshments. Learning about this devastating infection is 100 percent free to you tonight.

6-8 p.m. // Town Hall // Free
