I haven't been close to the Presbyterian church since confirmation more than 20 years ago, but my (very conservative) dad has summarized *his* anti- argument as:

1) The church doesn't recognize gay marriage.
2) Pastors, as spiritual leaders, should not unrepentantly sin.
3) The church considers extramarital sex to be a sin.

The church doesn't care who a pastor is attracted to, only about whether any sex he/she actually has is within a marriage.

The argument is logical, but it gives a cruel result. My resolution would be to recognize gay marriage, but that may take another generation.
