Huskies Will Learn Tournament Fate This Afternoon

Our Staples Center Bureau chief, Ryan, was not amused with the Huskies 75-65 loss to Arizona State on Friday night.

However, he and Husky fans further from Figueroa Street should be able to move past all of that nonsense at 3 p.m. when the 2009 Tournament field is announced.

The latest bracketology has the Huskies as a four seed, CBS' Seth Davis feels UDub will be higher than a four, and Coach Romar expects to end up with a three or a four.

This will be the Huskies' fourth trip to the Tournament in the past six years under Romar, which is better than the two appearances from the mid-'80s through 2003.

Now a quick note to the Tournament selection committee: If you put the Huskies in the same bracket as UConn, we will track you down and destroy everything you hold near and dear, we're talking Man on Fire type stuff.
