MvB is going to get his pound of opening night hors d'oeuvres after seeing the The Merchant of Venice at the Seattle Shakespeare Company tonight. Saturday, if rainy, may involve an all-day LOTR-athon at a friend's in LQA.
Jay is celebrating his forever-young partner's birthday this weekend by taking her to two of her favorite restaurants tonight (shh...it's a secret), then another restaurant tomorrow before an evening chocolate-making class. Oh, and a party on Sunday. That's life with a food writer.
Katelyn will spend her weekend writing up a storm on an unexpected deadline; on Saturday night she'll take a break to party at Neumos for the Truckasaurus/Common Market/Blue Scholars show, and on Sunday she's been promised brunch with ex-Seattlest Abbey. Otherwise, you'll be able to stalk her at various quiet locales around town with her laptop. If you see her, be kind and buy her a coffee, will ya?
Jack is going to see Watchmen tonight. Yes, again. Even though some of the acting is just plain bad, and a few of the scenes are gratuitously/laughably graphic, he still loves it. The rest of the weekend will be spent drinking gin & tonics and painting his living room.
Saturday's going to be a busy night for Audrey, what with The Wild Bunch at the NWFF and the nerdy bunch at the Fantagraphics store.
David will be watching some basketball, but mostly starting the moving process, so if you have any extra boxes or peach baskets he calls dibs.
Amy is running extra this weekend to build a calorie deficit into which she will pour Guinness and foods made from Guinness. On Sunday she'll wear a green wig and "bandit" the St. Paddy's Day Dash. She's not Irish, but kiss her anyway.
