I'm no fan of DMB or probably a sizable percentage of their fan-base, either, but I'll have to agree – this is kind of an unnecessary slam against a very wide ranging group of people. Not everyone's into ironistache sporting hipster tunes or silky smooth IDM (or what have you). And because they're not doesn't make them bad people. They just have average taste in music. At least they're not listening to white supremacist neo nazi skinhead hardcore/punk (which, I know I know, is a very small subset of said genres). Those folks deserve chastising because they're actually hurting people. These folks are just having a good time listening to Dave and that violin guy jamming it out. Of course, it's your blog and you can write what you want. But you lose credibility with posts like this. .m

heheh. I like John Mayer. One, he's good. Two, he knows everyone thinks he's turned into a douchebag and admits he seems to resemble a douchebag, but his video to Conan proves to the contrary.

Don't even pretend you were being funny, or sarcastic. Your comments generalizing a Dave Matthews' fans in this piece of crass are a low ball not worthy of a well written website that the Seattlest has become.
