The Sounders Will Taste Delish
Yeah, we know, the NBA left, and it’s being replaced with soccer. We’re all just going to have to deal with that.
We’re moving on. We’ve got some tickets, we’ll be getting a scarf, and who knows, maybe we’ll even get emotionally involved.
There is one last thing that we’re definitely going to do while rooting for the Sounders--put on weight.
The Qwest Field concession stands will be stocked with Kidd Valley burgers, Ivar’s fish, and Grounders chicken. Wait, Grounders?
But, we can hear you say, what about my kids? Isn’t it bad enough that I’m forcing them to watch foreigners kick a ball around, now they have to eat adult-sized food?
Relax, each of the three restaurants (assuming Grounders is a restaurant) is also offering kid’s meals. And if your child is a giant, well, Ivar’s is offering something called an Ivar’s Tanker, which is 32 ounces of clam chowder.
