Suspected Bank Robber on the Loose in Wallingford

Seattlest's bus home got stuck on 40th Ave in Wallingford when it came up on a half dozen or so police cruisers. We jumped off the bus (our stop anyway) and polled one of the little clusters of neighbors that were standing around shaking their heads and heard a crazy story about police chasing two people who'd robbed a bank into the neighborhood. They had one guy in custody--and the neighbors indicated one of the police cruisers, but we couldn't see any suspected bank robbers in there--and another guy was on the loose. And it turns out it's true. There is a suspected bank robber on the loose near 38th and Sunnyside in Wallingford. Possibly he's in our backyard. We're going to go check it out. If we're not back in twenty minutes...well, the cops are already here, so no need to call them again.
