VINYL IS SO IN RIGHT NOW: DJs, music collectors, and music lovers of all sorts who also happen to own a record player should consider heading down to the powerhouse Big Dig Record Show in Eastlake tonight. You'll probably score some great deals on the vinyl you've been lusting after, and in the process you'll get the opportunity to meet (and get drunk with) fellow collectors. The truly picky passionate will need to pay an extra chunk of change to get in the doors at 3 p.m. for the best chance of finding that rare EP you can't even get on eBay. There's an official afterparty, too, featuring the Emerald City Soul Club and Mr Supreme, legendary Seattle dj and record collector extraordinaire.

7 p.m.-2 a.m., Friday // Lo-Fi Performance Gallery, 429 Eastlake Avenue E // $10 3 p.m. earlybird, $3 from 4 - 9 p.m., $5 afterparty only // all ages, afterparty 21+

TINY VIPERS IN MY HAND: Hollow Earth Radio is one of the many struggling local independent organizations eminently worth supporting financially, and music fans in the Northwest have the opportunity to do so this weekend while enjoying acoustic performances from Sub Pop's Tiny Vipers and one-man Anacortes band Mount Eerie at the Fremont Abbey Community Arts Center. Get there! You won't regret it--Tiny Vipers' gorgeously atmospheric Hands Across The Void is a Seattlest HQ fave for rainy afternoons and dark pre-spring nights.

7:30 p.m., Saturday // Fremont Abbey, 43rd & Fremont Ave N // $8

HE'S STILL ALIVE: Pearl Jam guitarist and songwriter Stone Gossard performs at the Can Can both Sunday and Monday night with very special guests Barb Ireland, Hans Teuber, Keith Lowe, Steve Moore and (thrills! at least for this hiphop fan) DJ Bean One. They might be using a strobe light, even. That's a Northwest classic evening, yours for only $20.

10 p.m., Sunday // Can Can, 94 Pike Street // $20 // 21+
