Nice love letter, Seth. As a guy who does now live here (in part) because of Cobain (and other local recording artists) and Griffey, I share your enthusiasm. In 1990, I traded a Digital Underground tape for a 1989 Upper Deck Griffey RC. It's going to be a treat seeing him in a Mariners uniform again.

Great post, Seth. I'm really glad this worked out. Any bright (or even slightly dim) light for the Mariners this year is a plus.

I saw this on the front page of the PI and was like "Seriously? I thought he went to Atlanta. The PI has really gone downhill..." Because I refused to believe it was just a possibility for an entire bus ride.
