gorgeous pic, however i'd put $50 on the photographer being a non-pacific nw native.

how? being a native here i've learned that people who are nw transplants put he word "the" in front of freeway/highway names. normally they're californians, but i've met a few from other spots in the country.

my #2 way to spot a non-native: they turn "pike place" (market) into a possessive - unlike "pike's peak" it doesn't have the extra 's.
