DANCE DANCE DANCE: Pint-size Swedish ex-ballerina Lykke Li returns to Seattle for her largest venue yet, the Showbox at the Market. Last time we saw her, we said she has "an extra helping of cute and an idiosyncratic voice: breathy baby-girl ("Liddle bit in love wi' you," she sings, and your heart melts) mixed with Swedish soul. Her first full album is Youth Novels. Live, she's in perpetual motion, sashaying around the stage, swiveling her hips, one hand pushing the audience back, the other punishing a cymbal with a drumstick." We're not saying it's because her parents were hippies, but she's got a hell of an onstage work ethic.
8 p.m. doors // Showbox Market // Tickets: $22, all ages
3D SEA MOVIE: Today begins the run of the critically acclaimed Under the Sea 3D IMAX film at the Pacific Science Center. SEE! the underwater wildlife of Australia, New Guinea, and the rest of the Pacific! GASP! at the Stonefish--the world's most venomous fish--and a shark species so new they haven't discovered a soup for it yet. WONDER! why Jim Carrey is doing the narration.

WOMEN IN BLACK: Deadline USA and Scandal Sheet open SIFF Cinema's Noir City festival, hosted by "Czar of Noir" Eddie Muller. This year's theme is Newspaper Noir, and many of the films are set in the world of newspapers (or publishing or radio). As an added bonus, a single ticket gets you into Noir City's nightly double features, which imitate a night out in a 1940s theater. "I think this will probably be as close as you're going to get to actually going to the movies in 1948," claims Eddie, who should know. The festival begins today and runs through the 19th.
7:00 & 9:00 p.m. // McCaw Hall // $10
MAC AND JACK AND CRAFTS: Seattlest Jack says: "My wife and some other local crafty gals are doing a "Valentine Brewtique" thing at Naked City Taphouse. Basically it's handmade jewelry, greeting cards, bags, and brownies for sale. I guess you could say the draw is for peeps to buy their sweet thang a gift while having a beer! Oh, and it's on the same day as the Greenwood art walk but is not technically affiliated with the art walk."
6-10 p.m. // Naked City Taphouse, Greenwood // FREE, unless you buy somepin
