Can't Miss It: Tuesday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR LINDA'S: Capitol Hill mainstay and Linda Derschang's namesake bar celebrates its 15th birthday tonight, starting at 4 p.m. The first 100 people to show up get a free commemorative t-shirt, but for the rest of us, it's $2.99 cheeseburgers and 1994 beer prices all night. That's when beer was like, what, a nickel? Music care of DJ Damaged Goods.

THAR SHE BLOWS: David Quicksall's Book-It adaptation of Moby Dick, or The Whale has previews tonight through Wednesday, in advance of the world premiere opening on Friday. Tonight and tomorrow's previews are pay-what-you-will, with a suggested donation of $10, but they'll accept as little as a buck. Surely you can scrounge that up to get your whale on. Tickets go on sale one hour before the performance and are cash-only at the door with general admission seating. Running time is two hours with intermission.
7:30 p.m. // Center House Theatre, Seattle Center // 305 Harrison St. // $10 suggested donation
THEY LIVE!: It's nowhere close to Halloween, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate songs about zombies. Evil Nine, a Brighton, England-based electro duo performs a DJ set at Nectar tonight that doubles as an ode to the undead. Check out title track "They Live!" [youtube], which both hearkens back to the John Carpenter cult classic, while also offering up a chant-happy vocoder chorus.
