Yelp Review of Leroy's Makes Us Want to Go to There

Friday night, in the midst of gorging ourselves on approximately one shit-ton of deep-fried food, conversation turned to pimps and hos, as is our wont. Our host for the evening, a kindly trucker, started gushing about downtown men's boutique Leroy's, which has somehow escaped our attention up till now, even though it's right at 2nd and Pike. The following ridiculous description from Yelp convinced us that we must drop by this fine establishment posthaste.

This is a pimp store, there is just no other way to describe it. If I were a pimp I would only shop here, if I was an aspiring pimp I would shop here, if I was a bolder man than I am today I would shop here as well. And frankly, even if you're not a pimp you should visit b/c it is pretty unbelievably awesome. The suits here, well, I am shocked that they manufacture such garments. Long fake fur coats, bright purple suits, & flamboyant designs that would make the flashiest designs of mother nature's courtship devices wither in shame....

Amen, brother. Read the rest of the review here. And if that hasn't enticed you to stop in, just to see what Leroy's is all about, we direct your attention to the commercial below.

  • I would love to see some hipsters swarm in there for weeks, tailoring the perfect "ironic" suit.

I pass by this place about once a week. Every time, I think to myself that I should buy a suit here. Something special. Something to break out for those company parties or the occasional Seattlest Happy Hour.

Leroy's is awesome, can't believe it is still there! Adding some style to boring/granola Seattle. I think I'll go down this week and pick up a cool shirt.

Yeah, that commercial has been running for years and I always enjoy it. It doesn't even feel real. I do love the lack of emotion coupled with the suits.

Funny stuff. I'm always surprised that more people don't know about Leroy's intentionally hilarious commercials.
