It's Friday. It's damp. It's dreary.
It's time for ramen.
Tonkotsu ramen is all the rage in the States these days, but Tsukushinbo makes our favorite: simpler, shoyu ramen (soy sauce flavor). The noodles are better than most of what you'll find in Seattle, and it's great to have gyoza and rice to go with your bowl.
But the big thing to know is that Tsukushinbo makes ramen only on Fridays, and only a limited number of bowls. Once the stock is gone, you're out of luck.
It's time to go...

Around The -Ists This Week

Ever been to Samurai Noodle? I've been there a few times and even though the place is tiny, the ramen was decent. Plus you don't need to go on Friday. :)
Yes. In fact, I reviewed Samurai more than two years ago. Not bad, but it’s tonkotsu, and Tsukushinbo serves shoyu.
