Toshiki Osada and chelfitsch bring "Five Days in March" to OtB, through Sunday.

Tonight, internationally recognized Tokyo performance troupe chelfitsch arrive at On the Boards for five performances through Sunday, the latest installment in OtB's awesome Inter/National Series. chelfitsch (named for a child's inability to correctly pronounce "selfish") has been a celebrated company in Japan since its founding in 1997 by director Tashiki Osada. Relying on a mixture of interdisciplinary performance, anti-theatrical techniques, and an adoption of hipsterish mannerism and slang, Five Days in March tells the story of a young couple who spend most of week holed up in clubs and love hotels, while the American invasion of Iraq unfolds. Tickets are $24 and appear to be sold out for every night but tonight, attesting to OtB's thus far incredible season. Performances are at 8 p.m.
