YET ANOTHER ENGLISH SONGSTRESS: If you like your soul blue-eyed and British, London's Adele hits up Neumo's tonight with her breathy, honeyed voice for an all-ages show. Tickets are sold out, but it looks as if Craigslist has a few, though you have several other fans (and high ticket costs) to contend with. Similarly-minded singer-songwriter James Morrison opens.

7:00 p.m. doors // Neumo's // 925 E Pike St. // $20+

IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN: All this week (through February 1st), the Northwest Film Forum hosts the 4th annual Children's Film Festival. Tonight's selections include It's Your World, a program of short films that tackle the big issues (immigration, the environment, etc.) and Animated Genius, the jazz-fueled animation of husband and wife John and Faith Hubley.

5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. // Northwest Film Forum // 1515 12th Ave. // $6.50 for children, $9 for adults

BLIND PILOT, RESCHEDULED: Portland's Blind Pilot was all set to perform their shimmery folk-pop at the Triple Door earlier this month. And then came the flood. In these postdeluvian times, Blind Pilot has graciously rescheduled their show for tonight. 3 Leg Torso opens.

7:30 p.m. // Triple Door // 216 Union St. // $12
