Stalk of the Town
Katelyn has, as usual, what feels like several dozen shows to attend this weekend. She'll be darting in and out of venues, doing the laundry she meant to do three weeks ago, and making a point to re-stock her sock supply at Target.
Ah, laundry, o, socks! Ronald has nothing as useful on his agenda. A meetup with Belltown preservationists to examine sidewalk trees, a birthday party, a hot-wing cook-off. Now, next weekend is more promising, but you'll have to wait.
Abbey is celebrating her birthday with a big concert at the Blue Moon tonight. She'll be serenaded (in an ear drum obliterating way) by a few of her favorites: What What Now, The Drug Purse, a Super Secret Headliner, and a one night only reunion of one of her favorite bands of all time Vindaloo. She thinks you all should come out and celebrate too! Abbey suspects her Saturday (and possibly her Sunday) will be spent recovering from Friday night--and she is just dandy with that.
Kim is looking forward to a weekend full of activity. Tonight, she'll head to Annex Theater to catch their production of Blind Spot. Tomorrow, it's off to Conor Byrne for their Dolly Parton Tribute. Sunday night, The L Word comes back on Showtime, and she'll be joining her platonic girlfriends for an evening of cheesy dyke drama. Somewhere in there, she's going to scare up some brunch and hopefully make it to the gym.
Jack is so going to the Blue Moon tonight to celebrate Abbey's birthday with her. Saturday (if he can drag his ass out of bed), he's getting together with friends for some tubing action at Snoqualmie. Sunday is for laundry and replacing some janky old door knobs around the house.
Jay has no plans to appear in public this weekend, for a welcomed change!
MvB is spending Friday's happy hour at Feierabend in the company of some Franziskaners; Saturday night is all right for Outliers--the newest Malcolm Gladwell book that the man himself will be discussing at Town Hall.
Maia is headed to the Rep tonight for a Crew event. Meanwhile, she's one click away on Jet Blue from booking a flight down to Southern California for the weekend.
