Blind Pilot Show Canceled

Seattlest just received this email from Blind Pilot's publicist: "I just got word from the band... due to flooding on I-5, there is no way for Blind Pilot to get to Seattle, so the show is canceled." So, yeah, we told you to get out tonight and go see these guys play at the Triple Door, but we're taking it back. Stay inside and shield yourself from the effects of rainmageddon. We find that pizza, vodka, and bad '80s movies take the edge off the End of Days.

So The Triple Door finally updated their website. The show was officially cancelled so folks can either a) get a refund or b) move their reservation and see the rescheduled show which will happen on Monday, January 26th. More details here: http://tripledoor.net/event.aspx?eid=3824

That sucks! According to their publicist, they do plan on rescheduling.

FYI. The Triple Door doesn't have their crap together about this. Yeah, no one could have predicted their might be historic levels of flooding this week. Anyways.

I saw this was canceled via Blind Pilot's My Space page hours ago, but the Triple Door still has no information listed on their site. I just called to find out if I needed to cancel my reservation, if they were going to automatically refund the money or just move it to the rescheduled date but the girl was clueless. Apparently they're still trying to figure out it.

Long story short, if you bought tickets don't bother calling and waiting on hold for a long time to get little to no information. As soon as they figure it out they'll be emailing, calling folks with the details.

I'd really love to see this band live so I hope they can make it to Seattle sometime soon.
