Science, Art and More Going Out of Business

Another victim of the economic downturn: the Roosevelt district's beloved bastion of young geekery. Seattlest just got an email from Doug Livingston of Science, Art and More: "Due to the current economic conditions and due to personal reasons we can no longer continue in business." The only silver lining: Everything in the store is on sale, until the store finally closes in a few weeks. Until then, regular hours apply so stop by between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for bargains on electricity kits, miniature skeletons, stuffed animal bacteria, Edisonic knickknacks, and more.

What a shame to have survived the anti-science Bush years only to succumb when a more science-based administration is within reach!
