Oh Noes, Zooey Goes Postal!

She's already a member of She and Him, but now Zooey Deschanel is a part of She and Him? Is he funny or something?

Apparently, dear doe-eyed Zooey has formally announced her engagement to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, and here we didn't even know they were dating. While our initial reaction is "ugh, she's way too good for his whiny ass," perhaps this relationship will do them both some good. Maybe Ben can finally get the Postal Service to record a second album of dreamy electro-pop love songs, while Zooey can take some time off from acting, rather than appearing in such dreck as Yes Man, Failure to Launch, and The Happening.
