- West Seattle Blog has the latest on garbage pick-up, or lack thereof--a topic that, after two weeks with no garbage man, is near and dear to our hearts. City utilities say they hope to be caught up with pick-ups by this coming Saturday.

- Vintage Seattle has a preview of what's to come during the continued big melt, with a photo from the past.
- My Ballard (via the New York Times) reports that Edith Macefield's old home will be sold.
