HOLIDAYS AT THE ZOO: Even the animals at the Woodland Park Zoo are getting into the holiday spirit. For the next three days of the zoo's Winter Celebration, zookeepers will bring the animals gifts of tasty treats like "wreaths trimmed with fish or assorted fruit, evergreen trees with ornamental fruit, or wrapped boxes filled with favorite tidbits." For today, the schedule of feedings is sun bears at 11 a.m., grizzlies and pigs at noon, and the elephants at 2 p.m. Tomorrow, the orangutans, otters, golden lion tamarins, and tigers get theirs, and Wednesday closes things out with the emus, gorillas, and Australian birds and keas.

SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION: While we are still eagerly anticipating Seattle School's debut of REMEMBER ME (Klaus Nomi bathroom) a three-minute, one-person performance piece set to take place in the Hideout's ladies' room, the latest word is that it will open either January 3rd or 10th, running for four weekends after that. Till then, tide yourself over with a non-invitation to the latest in their monthly STRIKETHROUGH series. This time around, it's STRIKETHROUGH #12 featuring The Malfeasance Four, et al. performing "Pecuniary Recalibration #2: Karaoke ATM (not for Brenda Ann Spencer)." We're guessing it's about the economy or something.

YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE SWAYZE: David Schmader continues his survey course of terrible movies with Road House, the craptacular Patrick Swayze flick about the most famousest, bad-ass bouncer EVAR. The 7 p.m. show is sold out, so they added a second showing at 10 p.m. Yes, there is just that much demand for the Swayze.

7 p.m., 10 p.m. // Central Cinema // 1411 21 Ave. // $7 at the door, $8.17 in advance
