It is funny you mentioned the picture in a box. I did the exact same thing! I tried going to the mall. The roads were okay but the mall parking lot was a sheet of ice! Since I'm still limping a little from breaking my leg on the ice last December I decided cowardice was the best action. So, even though it was a week before Christmas, there was no hope of getting the wife's gift on time. Luckily, the printed picture had the desired effect. I'm new to the area and shocked at how bad the roads stayed and the lack of road clearing equipment. But, I agree with protecting Puget Sound so I guess there isn't much that can be done. I'm not sure though how snow plows damage the Sound? Happy Holidays!

It's not Amazon's fault that UPS can't deliver because of the weather. It's also not their fault if you ordered something that wasn't in stock, or didn't check the availability date. All but one of my prime packages came in time, and it's been sitting in Seattle just waiting to be delivered by UPS for the past week.

I signed up for Prime.

Only one thing showed up in time over the last 3 WEEKS!

It was the one item that would have showed up on time without prime.

tsktsk.
