BAD MOVIES: Stranger editor and monologist David Schmader may be most famous for his Showgirls commentary, but starting tonight he's spending six weeks expanding his repertoire. "From Bad to Worse," Schmader's series of bad cinema worth making fun of, starts tonight at the good old Central Cinema, with a showing of the Scientological epic Battlefield Earth.

FERAL CHILDREN!: It's a slow Monday without a lot of options besides movies, but if your taste is leaning towards something good rather than something bad, however hilariously so, then feel free to head over to SIFF Cinema tonight for a helping of Francois Truffaut's poetic New Wave cinema. Wild Child is based on a real historical story of a feral child found in the wild and society's attempts to civilize him, exploring what it really means to be human.
7:30 p.m. // 321 Mercer St. // $10
WHAT LITTLE MUSIC THERE BE: As always, when everyone else fails to deliver, the good people at Nada Mucho and the High Dive ensure that the rock-n-roller who's planning on boozing even though it's a Monday night can do so in a club with a band on stage. Tonight, it's JIFFY and Fast Forward/Rewind.
8 p.m. doors // 513 N. 36th // $6, 21+
