Stalk Of The Town
After a stressful week that was supposed to be a stress-free week, Kim will spend tonight healing with Netflix. Tomorrow, however, she'll join a tall, lovely lady for dinner at Tamarind Tree before heading to the lesbian bar. There she'll succumb to stereotypes while helping celebrate the birthday of one of her favorite people. Sunday is as Sunday does. Anything could happen, people.
After what seemed to be a never-ending week of work, Abbey is looking forward to nothing more this weekend than relaxing. Of course, her idea of relaxing invovles naps in-between a packed weekend of concerts. Tonight is all about debating which of three local venues she'll finally end up at: The Comet, The Skylark, or The High Dive. All three are featuring some of her favorite local bands, and she has unfortunately not figured out how to split herself in perfect thirds. Saturday Abbey plans on doing some holiday shopping at the Healthy Times Fun Club holiday bazaar before heading to The Comet to catch See Me River.
All Jack can hope for this weekend is to not get peed on. He'll be at the Woodinville Petsmart dressed as Santa and posing for photos with people's pets. He feels good about the money going to a local animal rescue group and he looks forward to meeting lots o' critters, but he also dreads the whole experience a little bit. At least it's with animals and not kids (shudder).
Brunch is something Ronald hasn't indulged in for years, but this Sunday will find him and a group of friends downtown at Boka for eggs benedict and scones and other brunchy things. Were they to linger waaay into the evening, there would even be holiday jazz, part of the Hotel 1000's worthy 12 Days of Holiday Cheer promotion.
With a big week of eating ahead, Jay will be resting his stomach with home-cooking, other than enjoying tea service at JUNO.
Tonight MvB is off to enjoy the "indescribable" comedic stylings of the Pajama Men at Annex Theatre; tomorrow he'll check on the good things he's heard about UW Drama's The Quick Change Room. Sunday may involve baking cookies.
Katelyn will be attending to hiphop matters. She'll also spend some time catching up with some of her friends from high school, most of whom have gone off and gotten married without her. Her sole culinary goal for the weekend is to make green bean casserole.
